Diabetic Recipes - Now Do Not Compromise On Taste!

When it comes to diabetic recipes, you must know that compromising on taste and restricting yourself from certain foods will not play the trick. Eating healthy and keeping yourself fit is the best way.

If you think that diabetic food cannot be tasty, you are wrong. Food stipulated for diabetic people can also be really lip smacking and delicious. All you require to do is to know about the right kind of stuff to be used and how to use these to get a healthy nutritious diet.

Here are some delicious diabetic recipes to cook from. You can try these recipes and still control the blood sugar levels in your body.

A) Motten chocolate cakes with sugar coated raspberries

This is a delicious dessert. It gets baked within a period of 10 minutes and that too in a standard muffin pan. The best part is that you would not have to compromise on your health to have these cakes.

- Ingredients required:

Graham Cracker packet - 1

White sugar - 2tbps

Softened butter - ½ cup

Ground cinnamon - 1 ½ teaspoons

Softened cream cheese - 8 oz

Eggs - 3

Sour cream - 16 ounce

Vanial extract - 1 teaspoon

- Preparation method:

Combine butter, cinnamon, graham crackers and 2 tablespoons sugar in a food processor and pulse until smooth. Now, press in to the bottom of a baking dish of about 8x12 inches. Now mix cream cheese with a cup of sugar, vanilla extract and process until it is smooth. Now pour over crust and then bake in a preheated oven for about half an hour. Mix sour cream, vanilla and sugar in a small bowl and spread over the cheese cake top.

B) Turkey brine

This will surely prove to be a superb dish for your taste buds.

- Ingredients required:

Vegetable broth - one gallon

Sea salt - one cup

Crushed dried rosemary - one tablespoon

Dried sage - one tablespoon

Dried thyme - one tablespoon

Dried savory - one tablespoon

Ice-water - one gallon

- Preparation method:

Combine vegetable broth, rosemary, sea salt, thyme, savory and sage. Bring all the ingredients to a boil via stirring it frequently and make sure that the salt is dissolved correctly. Now, remove the mixture from heat. Let it cool to room temperature until it is over.

As soon as the broth cools, pour it on a five gallon bucket. Stir the mixture in the ice-water. Wash the turkey and let it dry. Remove the innards completely and place it breast down inside the brine. Fill the cavity.

You need to place the bucket in a cool location overnight. Remove the turkey and pat dry. Discard the excess brine. Cook the turkey as you desire. Reserve the drippings for gravy.
